Hi,
I posted a message a few weeks ago about sit & stand strollers...I was looking at the baby trend & the joovy...but i found a fisher price sit & stand that has this huge basket on the back...however, FP took it off the market and I was just wondering if anyone has one...how you like it? how heavy is it to lug on & off busses? how does it roll? or Maneuver?

Thank you so much for the information!!!

Ok I couldnt' find anything about that stroller. I did read your other thread, too, and owned the sit-n-stand 8 years ago. Here's my 2 cents, just to make life a bit harder. If you are going to buy a stroler for WDW, I wouldnt invest in any of the sit-n-stand models for one toddler.

Forget the he likes to stand thing. He's 2 and he should sit when and where you tell him to. And its WDW, he will be plenty occupied. Baby Trend and Graco, usually have something on the market that would be much better and for usually around the $50 mark if not cheaper. You want a lightweight stroller that fully reclines (our son never slept well in the SNS), so you can keep going while he sleeps, and he will crash. You want cup holders and a big basket underneath for all your stuff. You want him to have a tray in front of the seat that snaps off when not in use so he can hop in and out easily, but still snack.

Seriously, blow off the big investment of the big stroller.

I have the FP & the joovy.
I love my joovy because it is a triple (2 seats and the sit n stand) BUT when my older girls want to walk alot I prefer my FP sit n stand

I love the FP one becauseit has that huge basket and I can fillit up when at the mall and it is easy to manuver (sp?)
I liked it so much I bought the Fisher Price Utility KID Vehicle also.

All in all you can't go wrong with either.

Ps
I had the baby trend years ago andit was okay but that was an older model, they might be better now.
good luck with your choice

Thank you so much for your replies! After much reading reviews, and test driving...I decided to go with the Joovy ultralight. I got it on Ebay about $50 less than in the store and that is including the s/h. So we will see once i get it in.

I actually found a F/P stroller on Ebay and I asked the seller about the weight...and she told me that it was very heavy and hard to menuver. She said that the basket was nice but the stroller all in all is very awkward...so I decided against it.

I guess everyone has different opinions. I realize that the Sit & Stand strollers are in fact bulky...and for me, I really needed to consider the weight being that I'm taking my 2 yr old by myself and to lug the stroller on & off the buses.

I HOPE I LIKE IT!!! :goodvibes

WHAHOO!!! I just rec'd my Joovy Ultralight Caboose last night and it was a cinch to put together!!! After riding my son around on it for a little while, I couldn't get him out or off the stroller! I put my big stroller next to it and boy what a difference!!! This tandum stroller folded more compact and a whole lot lighter!
Well I'm not sure of how I'm going to like toting it off & on buses...but I will surely post after.
I've read & rec'd so many reviews, good & bad, about bringing stollers vs renting.
So we will see!
