does anyone miss the sunwheel

I LOVE the maliboomer!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! I am sad it may be on the chopping block but until they take it down I will hold out hope! I am not sad they are repainting the sun wheel as red is my favorite color and like nancy said it'll still be the same ride so no biggie. Will be weird looking at screamin without those blue glowing ears though. Ah well.

We won't really miss the maliboomer because they have a ride just like that at a nearby amusement park. And the one nearby is actually taller. I don't like those kinds of rides but DH does.

Not everyone has a Maliboomer living next door to them.

I really liked that ride. I was scared to death the first time I saw people shoot up at that speed and I thought my heart was going to come out of my bottom. The worst part was strapping myself in and anticipating when the heck they were gonna start the darn thing.

I never actually rode the sunwheel so I'm neutral there, but I think the Mickey head will be a nice addition to it.

I'm not too thrilled about the giant Mickey face on the Sun Wheel. I think it's a bit over the top, but oh well. I've always liked the ride itself though, even though I can't get anyone to ride it with me.

I've never been on the Maliboomer because I'm an inch too short to ride! LOL. I don't mind though, because it gives me an excuse to not have to ride it without looking like a chicken. The structure itself is a bit of an eyesore. Obviously, I won't be sad to see it go.

I've seen the concept art for the new Silly Symphony Swings, and I think it looks great! It will be a vast improvement over the giant bright orange peel, but again I think they could have achieved the same beautiful Victorian amusement pier look without adding Disney characters to it.

i think people are not getting me, the orange zinger to the silly symphony swings.. is not whats replacing the maliboomer.. there is something else going there..

in the art i saw it kinda looked like jumpin jellyfish..

Yeah, we get that. We were all just commenting on various changes that will be happening at DCA.
