Does anyone like the pizza at POP??

Just curious. I have not read one good thing about their pizza yet so was just wondering if there was someone out there that acutally liked it.

By the way, 11 more hours and we are on our way driving to our first trip to WDW and POP!

Best pizza on property, Crocketts Tavern, Fort Wilderness, serve only at night, call to verify that! Try it, you'll like it!

First, have fun on your trip! I loved my stay at Pop!

Second, The pizza at Pop was such a disappointment. Only thing I liked was the box. hehe. You can get much better food at the Everything Pop food area.

The pizza at POP is pretty much standard EVERYWHERE in WDW! There are the occasional places in the parks and hotels that have a different style (Mama Melrose..etc..), but for the most part it is this style. It's nothing great, but still has an enjoyable taste! If I was you, I would go to Wolfgang Puck!!!!

My mother had the pizza and said it was awful. She's *very* easy to please when it comes to pizza so I just have to take her word for it. She'll eat any chain pizza and usually loves it. My dad managed to choke a couple bites down but also said it was awful. We didn't eat any other Disney-produced pizza so I don't know how it compares.

I will second Wolfgang Puck though, the pizza there was *excellent*!

I thought it was OK. I mean, it's not the best in the world, but it was definitely OK. Let's put it this way....I've had much worse!

Pop has SO much to chose from at their food court, so if the pizza doesn't appeal to you, you have tons of other things to pick!

If you watched the WDW special that was on the Food Channel, you would know why you didn't like the pizza!

Assembly line with dough shell, squirt of tomato sauce, drops of cheese and then it's baked. Yuk!

If you want a good pizza at WDW, try Mama Melrose's in Disney/MGM Studios.

I thought the pizza that you can by from the counter in the POP food court was better than other places in Disney. Not sure if it was because they cooked it in a pizza oven or what, but I liked it better. I've never had the deliver to your room kind, since I've never stayed at POP.

I'm apparently in the minority here, but I don't think the pizza at POP is that bad. I've had it on 2 separate trips now & enjoyed it both times. It is in no way "great" pizza, but hit the spot one night when wanting a warm & cheesy snack after a long day at the parks. We haven't had a pizza delivered at POP, but we did once at the All Star Movies & we think the pizza at POP seemed much tastier.

Thank you all for responding. I will definately try Mama Melroses. And probaly POP too. But now its off to bed. We have a 20 something hour drive starting in around 5 hours so I have to get a little sleep. Luckily DH has been sleeping for a while now and he does most of the driving. Thank you all and we will have a wonderful time and will do a trip report when we get back.

Well, the WORST of THE WORST was in Milton Fl in Feb. of this year. We went to a "local" Italian restraunt and had a Pizza which I SWEAR to this DAY, was Cheap, cheap, Frozen Pizza! I cannot describe it any better than THAT!
