While back someone had posted a link here that showed all the major car rental companies and what their deposit (hold on credit card) and credit card requirements are when you pick up the vehicle. Does anyone still have that or know where I can find that?

Hmmm...no car rental company I've ever used has needed a deposit or a credit card number when making a reservation...
