Does anyone know what happened to the Dale Chihuly chandelier from the MAGIC?

There was a touring exhibit that was in Richmond in the last several months.

If it is somewhere in one piece, I hope they dust it and change the light bulbs a bit more frequently!

I don't know if it was made out of "plastic" but it WAS NOT made out of glass. Two primary reasons
1) Weight
2) Safety IF any piece fell off

From what I understand, Chihuly uses some sort of glass/resin/plastic combo for all of his works. This makes them more durable and easier to dismantle and move.

I wouldn't be surprised if the chandelier was dismantled. All his sculptures and chandeliers are built to fit on a steel structure and be dismantled so they can be moved.

Except that the museum isn't for his work. the museum was created "by" him but for other peoples' work. There's some chihuly stuff there but not enough IMO! (I'm a rare PAC NW person who likes what he designs and doesn't mind that he has others make it for him)

It was reported back in November that the chandelier would be placed in his museum in Seattle.
