Obviously I'm not Tyler, but as a former DME rider and as an avid DISboards reader, please allow me to answer your question.

In short, THERE IS NO SET ORDER. Bus loads are grouped and buses are dispatched based upon need at that time. No 2 days are alike. No two HOURS are alike! There's no way to plan and no way to know which other resorts you'll be grouped with and in what order you'll be dropped off. I did read a post from a driver who said that for any given bus load, the resort closest to MCO will be dropped off first, the resort farthest from MCO last, and so on.

I also know that the All Stars are not necessarily grouped together, either. On my ride on May 8, the bus stopped at CBR first (my resort), and then went on to ASMo and AKL, but I don't remember which the bus went to next after CBR.

I know that it stinks for all of us hyper-planners that we can't know the order of drop off or the routes, but the system they set up seems like it's better than a rigid system that would be inefficient and probably full of annoying delays.

Movies is deep in the west side of Disney. It is usually last or next to last on a route of 3 to 4 stops. Still you should be at your resort within 50 to 60 mins of rolling at MCO.

so they let me off, no luggage and we all rush to check in, then we go to the room and then we can ride over to the parks..am i right about this?

Sure. Keep in mind you WILL have your carry-ons with you.

Part of what makes it "magical" is that you don't need to wait for your luggage because it will "magically" arrive in your room, usually about 3 - 4 hours after you do (so pack your carry-ons accordingly); part of DME is even a tip for the Bell Services CM who delivers your luggage to your room (they're pre-tipped so it's no big deal if they get to your room and there's no one there to give a tip). Once you check in, you can do whatever you please. I was at the pool when my luggage arrived. Pool, park, Miami, go wherever you want, you're on vacation!
