My dh falls asleep every night in his recliner...he would enjoy our whole trip better if our room had one. TIA!

if you find one - definitely say - but my guess would be no - now a chair and an ottman you might be able to find - I know the 1-bedroom and up at DVC resorts have them.

so probably would most of the timeshares in the area -and believe me there is alot of timeshares!!!

While I have not stayed there but I have a reservation for this coming August HIFS has a Cinema Suite that has not one but 2 recliners in their Cinema Suite, which also has a 60 inch TV! I also fall asleep in my recliner and looked everywhere until I found that the Cinema Suites at HIFS have them. There are only 2 suites like this so if you want to make a reservation, make it fast. Mine are for 8/29/04 to 9/5/04 and I got the entertainment rate for this suite of $86. Good luck!

Homewood Suites Lake Buena Vista on Palm Parkway has a recliner in the sitting area.

Wow thanks for coming through again! The Kid suites sound very promisin, but they tell me they do not accept the entertainment card any more, their best rate was 169.00. I will have to do some online looking.. Any tips?

tia :)

I was watching TV last night and saw a commercial for Extended Stay America that showed that each of their suites has a recliner in it. I know that there is an Extended Stay America across from Universal Studios in the Major Blvd. area although we have not stayed there. (We have stayed at the Homewood Suites Lake Buena Vista that I listed in my earlier post.)

Mattmax, I just emailed the hotel about the Entertainment rate since I have my three ressies with this rate. I'll let you know what they say. I have read several threads here where some people are still getting the rate while others don't. Maybe you should keep trying, if a cancellation comes a long you might be lucky. Just remember you want the Cinema Suite, not the Kidsuite for the recliners. BTW like your username Mad Max is one of my favorite characters!:teeth:

I've been to Extended Stay Americas and they do have a nice La-z-boy in the rooms. But don't get me started about the chain...have to control myself to stop getting angry... :)

I believe all Residence Inns have recliners.

Do you mean just in Florida? I've stayed in several Residence Inns in other states and have never had a recliner in the room.

Steve, I've never stayed in a RI. I just remember seeing a commercial on TV once talking about there being recliners in the room.

However, my memory may be wrong; wouldn't be the first time!
