I was told once that if you were an employee of the GM corporation or a retired GM employee you and your immediate family could get all different types of WDW discounts. I tried searching and can't find anything out. My fil is retired from GM, but he is very ill at this time so he won't be able to give us any info. If anyone out there knows anything at all about this please let me know. Thanks
My FIL was retired GM, too. What I am thinking you are talking about was the old Magic Kingdom Club card/discount that many companies (even Sears) used to offer there employees as a perk. The Magic Kingdom Club is no longer in existance and there was nothing to replace it. Sorry! Swan/ Dolphin hotels offer some discounts to teachers and nurses. There is a military hotel with discounts for military folks called Shades of Green. Just watch Mousesavers.com for discounts everyone can use. Have fun planning!
My Dh works for GM and there are no discounts for them. The only perk is the free lounge and back entrance to Test Track, but you have to show a valid GM employee card to get in.
