Does anyone know if the Hard Rock Hotel charges

parking fees for hotel guests? We are thinking of renting a car!

All the Universal hotels charge according to the number of nights of your stay. I think it was $10 a night when we were there...don't know if it has gone up. We stayed at the Royal Pacific and had a hard time finding a parking place over the weekend and did not use our car one night because too many other cars were circling the lot looking for a parking place. Hopefully the Hard Rock has more space for self-parking. Of course if you like to valet park, there's always room, but it costs more than $10 per night.

Parking is now $12/ night. HRH actually has less parking space than RPR. In July, my DH didn't have any problem finding a place to park though. That wasn't the case on one of our previous HRH stays. That said, I'm never with him when he parks. It could be that he's finally figured out where the empty spaces usually are. We park our van & never move it, so he only has to find a space once.

For future reference, RPR has lots of self parking. If you can't find a place in the front lot, there's plenty more in the convention parking area. You can definitely find a space there. If you park in the convention spaces, enter through that door. It's a quick walk through the convention area. The doors you exit bring you out fairly close to the lobby.

BTW, you're going to love HRH.
