Does anyone know how to get cabinets off a wall?

Well, with all the remodel questions, here's mine LOL... We have a kitchen we are re-doing... Anyhow, there are screws at the top of the wall cabinets, but it seems they are glued to the wall or something.... so how exactly do you get these things down without completely wrecking your walls? The base cabinets are easy, they'll come right out, but these wall cabinets It's one of those things I'm just missing.... so what's the best way to get them down?

YIKES! I tried to take a medicine cabinet off the wall and it was glued or something and I pulled big hunks of drywall out. DH was NOT happy with me at all!

He told me I should have "scored" around the edges with a razor or some sharp implement. I really don't think this would have helped much, but I guess it may be worth a try?

OK, that is my BIGGEST fear... let's hope somebody has some practical experience with NOT taking down the drywall with it You don't know how I'm dreading this LOL....
