Does anyone know how a split stay works with magic bands/plans?

For the first time I am splitting my stay between two resorts. I have two separate reservations. I know I would need to split the dining plan but how do magic bands work? Will I need two? And do I have to make fast pass reservations on two separate days?

ADRs will have two days. Split stay, as long as the stays are consecutive and you are staying in qualifying 60-day resorts will have one day (60 days prior to first check-in). You only need one MB, but you can accept both if you'd like. MBs are simply tied to your MDE plans so they are interchangeable.

You do not need two sets of magic bands. Make sure the tickets you purchase are attached to the first stay. If you check out of the first resort and into the second on the same day, your FP window will open for the entire trip.

All of your Magic Bands will work to get you into the park and to open your resort room door as long as you can see them in your MDE account. MBs are attached to the MDE account, not to the resort or to the tickets.

You can customize both sets of MBs if you would like two different colors or would like a spare set.
