Does anyone know about the "Family Magic Tour"?

Can anyone tell me anything about the "Family Magic Tour"? I have 2 girls - ages 5 & 8....would this be for their age group? I saw a very brief description of this on one of the guide books, but it didn't really give me much info ......thank goodness for the DIS

We were supposed to do it for my son's 5th bday during the day, but our son wasn't feeling well so I went to see about a refund, they mentioned they had a halowe'en themed one that night. I took my son and he LOVED it!! The goal was to save the Magic Kingdom before the bad guys took all the hallowe'en candy.. We went all around solving clues and then got priority seating for the hallowe'en parade. It's probably a bit different then if you go to the one in the morning, but generally it's the same. At the end, a different character meets the grooup and congratulates them a on ob well done, for us it Mulan and Mushu. My son was thrilled!! Hopefully we can do it again, this year! Your girls would be the perfect age!

My husband and Daughter (she is five) will be doing the tour in May when we go. For what I understand is they are searching for capt. Hooks Hook before he closes down Magic Kingdom. There are reviews on ALLEARSNET.com. I will let you know how it is when we return.

Without giving away any of the fun, it was two of the best hours I've ever spent at Disney--but I must warn you--if you're an adult, be prepared to be transformed into a kid again, and enjoy the experience. Even if you call them and ask what happens, they won't tell you....so neither will I. Just wear comfy shoes, because you'll go everywhere in the park, with a nice surprise at the end. If you have an annual pass, you get 15% off. I hope you have an awesome CM who will guide you; we were laughing before the tour even started tee-hee

We have this booked in the beginning of May for our 4 year old and 6 year old DDs, my DH and myself. You can also get a discount with your Disney Visa or AAA. I have heard the characters at the end vary, we're hoping for Peter and Wendy! I don't want to spoil the fun for you, but if you want more info do a search on these boards. There has been tons of posts about this in the past! I will post a review when we get back!
