Does anyone have pictures of your Dessert Parties?

I don't know about at a dessert party but you can have a cake in epcot at an outdoor location, just limited on teh types of fillings you can have. Last year we were planning our reception at French Island in EPCOT from 7 to 11 and we were having our cake, just couldn't use moose fillings.

Did anyone notice that people werent hungry come the dessert party?
I'm worried only because our receptation is at ADH right before 3 1/2 then going right there. We are having cake at the ADH as well.

Not at ours...our reception was 1130-4...people went back to their hotels - rested (I napped propped up on a pillow so I didn't wreck my hair) and then we had the busses pick them up. I told them to hold off having dinner and they did...later on we all met back at the Beach Club and ate snacks from Beaches & Cream.

They brought us in by bus through a back entrance. You have to walk through England to get to the DP location. We got so many congrats from people & a little girl asked me what princess I was LOL

Malibelle: I love your drink at your DP what drink was it? Did it have the glow cubes in it. I would like something like this for my cocktail hour but the list they've sent me doesn't have anything that appeals to me. If you did use the glow cubes how long do they last?

thanks but they weren't drinks, they were centerpieces on all the table and they did have glow cubes in them. They are batteries in glow cubes and they have an on off switch. They last a long time. We were however suppose to have a punch bowl with punch and glow cubes in it but that didn't happen, I think they forgot. We didn't say anything because we got some other extra stuff that we didn't pay for like tons of chocolate covered strawberries( more than waht we ordered) so it all balanced out.

I can tell you our came to about $5000 with food, drinks(no alchohol except 2 bottles of dessert wine), centerpieces and location for 100 people.
