I know about the Toll House one in The Land, and The Garden Grill, and Akerhaus.
But I read something that lead me to believe that more WS resturants particiated on a regular basis. My DD8 would love this......anyone? Thanks

I didn't know that Akershous (sp?) and the Garden Grill did Jr Chef's programs. My dds have done the Grand Adventures in Cooking at the GF and the Toll House cookie thing. They really enjoyed it. Where did you find out about the WS restraunts that had the Jr Chef programs?

The only one I know of (I think according to my Passporter) in Epcot is the one in The Land near Soarin'. It's called the Jr. Chefs program.
Garden Grill is right by there so that may be the confusion there.
The only other Jr. Chef program is at the GF but it costs money ($28). This one in The Land is free and runs almost every hour during the day I think but it's limited to 20 kids so you may have to be flexible on the exact time.
I'm going to enroll my big two girls while DH and DFIL are doing the Segway Experience and DMIL, me and the baby will eat at Sunshine Seasons.
I've never heard of Akershus doing anything like this either.

I recently read somewhere that if you ask in any restaraunt your child may be able to serve the salad etc. It basically said to just ask your server if your child could "help out". I plan on asking next month.

not sure if this is still available or not, but this was posted a while back at http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=11650623&postcount=42

Walt Disney World Junior Chefs

Youngsters get a taste of what it's like behind the scenes in the Walt Disney World Junior Chef Program. In both quick-service and full-service eateries, young guests are randomly selected every day to don a toque and white jacket and help decorate a cake or cookies, or toss a salad for their own family's meal. Though the children are not permitted in the kitchens, the chefs give them a quick and fun culinary lesson, with guests often gathered round to watch.

For instance, at Boma-Flavors of Africa restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, cultural representatives from Africa select children to participate. A Boma chef comes to the table and escorts the child to the restaurant's on-stage bakery to make a dessert to share with their family. Each participant gets a photo and a certificate signed by the chef.
