Does anyone have a car seat leveler?

The car seat that we have for our son sits him too upright. I was thinking about getting another car seat, but then I saw car seat levelers on Amazon and wondered if they would do the trick.

Anyone have one and like it? Or dislike it?

We just cut a swimming pool "noodle" to the right length and shoved it under the seat. That was actually suggested to us by someone who knows how to safely install the seats. A folded towel also works.

That's what a friend of mine did. When her daughter could go to facing forward, she's used the funoodle as a toy to play with.

When I took DS to the car seat safety clinic run by the state police, the officer used a piece of pool noodle as well, to get the correct angle (he had some sort of device to measure the angle with, although the car seat also had a built in angle display).
