Does anyone else have silly answers pop into their heads reading threads??

I know I have a bizarre sense of humour, but I've been noticing the last couple of days that the FIRST response that pops into my head to a lot of question threads is a silly/crazy one!

IE, there's a thread here that asks something like "Did anyone else have their kids in the hospital the whole time giving birth?

My first thought was "Yes, the baby was there the whole time."

Ie, "Orcas, wild or captive"

MY first thought: "Neither. Poached with rice"

I know...I'm odd!:rotfl2:

I have sarcastic answers pop into my head... but an infraction or two has taught me to refrain from posting them ;)

OK, so I tried to google what the heck ailly meant........I think I got it figured out:thumbsup2

However, I often find myself talking to the screen to answer thread titles. Especially threads like "Has anyone stayed at Pop?" Answer: Nope, no one has ever stayed there-just a big empty building, and I'm not sure what's up with all those big statues.

Thanks for letting me know I'm not alone!

::yes:: All the time! :thumbsup2

Some disers I have met IRL were a little surprised by my snarky side. :rolleyes1

Oh for Pete's sake!:lmao::rotfl2: I didn't even notice that typo until you mentioned it! Silly. Silly. NOT ailly!:rotfl:

Sometimes I even type my snarky answers out. Then highlight and delete them. So far so good :rolleyes1

Me too. Can't tell you the number of times I've typed something out only to delete it because it was too honest :rolleyes1

Everytime that I see it, I want to respond "deep fried". :rotfl2:

Always good to hear I am not alone. I have also typed out answers only to delete and post a "real" answer.

I always think of ridiculous answers, sometimes off the wall, sometimes just plan snarky. I teach 7th grade English...I have to be careful not to get snarky with them. The ridiculous is ok. :) When I see a question online that "deserves" a snarky response I usually don't even reply. Keeps me out of trouble. But I sure do think of some doozies!
