Does anyone else have silly answers pop into their heads reading threads??

However, I often find myself talking to the screen to answer thread titles. Especially threads like "Has anyone stayed at Pop?" Answer: Nope, no one has ever stayed there-just a big empty building, and I'm not sure what's up with all those big statues.
::yes:: That's exactly the sort of answer I don't post :teeth: I want to, desperately, but I'm being good.

All the time!

Some disers I have met IRL were a little surprised by my snarky side
I have to be honest with you - as knowledgeable and helpful as you always are, I have to admit I'm still not surprised to learn you have a snarky side :thumbsup2

OK, so I tried to google what the heck ailly meant........I think I got it figured out:thumbsup2

Thanks for letting me know I'm not alone!

That cracks me up because I DO THE SAME THING...:lmao: One time there was a thread where someone was asking why another poster was always on the internet, how the OP had looked and seen the other poster was on disboards for like thousands of hours. How the OP had no time to be on the internet for thousands of hours (o.k..I might be exaggerating that 'thousand' thing but ya know)...I had to force myself to walk away because my thought process was just to snarky to put in words

Wait! I'm "always" on the Internet. Could they have been talking about me? But... hold on. How did the second person know the first person was on the Internet thousands of hours in a row? Doesn't that mean, um, that the stalker - oops, I mean innocent until proven guilty second person - was also online 'thousands of hours'? :rotfl2:

Good point.

To add to that: there are ways to be "on the internet" without being "on the internet" I have a browser with multiple windows. Often, the DIS is on in one. Just as common, I have the computer on and I am no where near it.

YES. The numerous, "did anyone ever do Disney pregnant?" bring multitudes of snarky answers, most of which I could never post.

I know not to post them because I may or may not have receive points for snarkiness. :rolleyes1

Always good to hear I am not alone. I have also typed out answers only to delete and post a "real" answer.

I do this too!

I have a hard time holding back when someone disagrees with a poster and they throw a tantrum. As entertaining as that is, I usually have to bite back a snarky reply.

OMG- if I said half the crap that comes to mind while dis-ing, I would have been kicked out a long time ago.

I too have a really snarky side,---> true story. :rolleyes1

Me too and I've been around a long time! Sometimes its fun to share the comment with one of my kids or husband.:lmao:

Shall we go ask the DISigners for some t-shirt decals???:rotfl2:

On the back can we put "Google is Your Friend!"??
Hey! I resemble that remark!:lmao: I have to admit...I was a little shocked that they called my beautiful sarcasm "argumentative"....:confused3:rolleyes1

*Some* people just have no appreciation for finely crafted sarcasm.:rolleyes1

Stop fooling yourself...nobody was surprised. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
:p

Do you think this guy:

that used to be in my signature (with the explanation about my name) might have been one clue? :confused3

I love this thread. We can not only admit to having "silly" (read: snarky) answers pop into our heads - we can also post them! Good one, phors!

Not all of them!

I don't think I've learned my lesson yet. I keep my infraction notices and can't understand most of them. It's like I have a hoarding problem with them.

It infuriates me to no end that you can't reply when you are given points.

But yes, I do post the answers as soon as they come to me.

I have to admit that 95% of the time I will respond to a thread and erase before I send it.

What's funny are the baby name threads and I will say no more.

yep know this problem! just got 10 points for being "argumentive and sarcastic' for speaking my mine. The one I think that blew me in is being "argumentive' in another thread right now- should I blow them in??
