Does anyone else hate their screen name?

um, didn't you pick it? You could...
A) Ask the mods to change it (don't know if they can)
B) Create a new one
C) Live with it
D) Quit the Dis.

I picked my screen name because I collect Sorcerer Mickey stuff and I thought it would be original. I'm not sure I've ever liked it.

I picked mine so long ago and it is a very obscure book reference. I don't care for it anymore.

Yep - I put in this screen name without a lot of thought, assuming I could change it later - but nope. Very sad, since I don't want to create an entirely new account just because of the name. Most other forums allow name changes, apparently, not this one :( I know two other people who created new accounts here for the same reason.

No, I have used this identity online for a long time on various sites, so it just feels like a nickname to me. I can see where people might get tired of, or have regrets about, the username they picked though. People change, and a username that once described them might no longer be applicable.

I chose my name on a whim, was probably very hungry at the time, now regret it. May request the mods change it. I have a few ideas :)

Maybe a Moderator will jump in to let us know if we can somehow / someday change our Screen Name. I recall trying a bunch of names (all taken), getting frustrated and just entering a random combo so I could get online to ask/answer a question. Still here years later lol. P.S. I see people asking for the site to be updated to change screen names back in 2017 so guess they just don't wish to allow it.

Are you thinking more along the lines of Tortoni or Spumone today?

I’ll trade screen names with you. I’m not most people’s favorite.
But it is memorable. I easily remember your name and I can ensure you its not in a bad way

What a great question. I joined long ago, disappeared, and resurfaced.

My name incorporates many things relating to Disney, my family life, my whimsical take on things, baseball, gender and so on. I found it fitting in 2012 and still feel the same way in 2023.

So another take on this would be if you got a tattoo are you still happy with it or hate it?
I am A OK with mine. :thumbsup2
