Does anyone else get their pets Christmas presents?

Our cats "exchange" gifts with my sister's cats and my mother's cats. Weird---I know, but hey, they are part of the family too!

Gunnar the camping corgi gets several, too! I usually get one of the filled stockings and wrap each gift separately with a little treat in each one. I keep his bag of gifts handy, and after he opens one and eats the treat he'll come and get another gift out. He never bothers anyone else's gifts though. He's been playing with his new toys all day!!

Yes, we always get our baby something for Christmas & birthdays.........he usually gets treats, as he has a favourite toy & has never taken to any others terribly well.

Not only do I buy for my boys, but so did friends, family and even the petsitter. They made out like little bandits.

No, not really. But they are beyond thrilled to have wrapping paper to play with (and not get yelled at, since that's what happens when they play with it while I'm trying to put it on a package). Between that and the boxes, they're the happiest kitties around!

yes,

Our beagle got some special biscuits.

What is the puupcorn you bought? Is it only bought locally? Or at pet store?

herc.

Yep! They each had a stocking. Both Girls got new collars and a toy. Then My mom, sister, Lilly and Daisy (dogs) got one of those bags that you can carry on your shoulder and the dog lays in it. It's very cute!! This was the girls first Christmas, I think they enjoyed themselves!!!

the cat got a can of tuna and the dog got leftovers from dinner

Harley got a new kelly green sweater (with hood and pockets to boot) to wear to the family's today (did DH's and mine), along with a rawhide candy cane, bag of gourmet pawprint cookies (as opposed to thumbprint), another huge bag of rawhides, couple toys, and pooh ears from DTD.

I also baked dog brownies last night, and 'he' took a bag to my aunts dogs for them to have when we got there. They were a huge hit!

He also got gifts from our parents =)

Of course!

Although Denny is now in heaven, all 11 Christmases he spent with us, he received his own (wrapped) presents. Denny understood "Merry Christmas" meant his turn to unwrap a present, and he got very excited about it. I certainly hope Denny is still able to unwrap Christmas presents in heaven.

Nope, and they like it that way! They are both such big doggie-chickens, they're afraid of the presents, and forget paper, that's enough to send them both into the garage to hide!

Steph--mom to seriously affected 6-yo Sheltie named Skye and 2-yo black lab named Duke

Of course! Our cat McKinley received a new wool bed which she knew right away was hers and she hasn't left since Christmas morning except to eat and go to the bathroom. It's funny b/c she usually sleeps with us at night but hasn't since the new bed. How does she know it's hers? She's so smart! Jefferson, our dog, got a big bone, a new toy and christmas doggie biscuits. Their "grandparents" and "aunts" also get them gifts.

of course!
Jazz received a kong and a jar of Peanut Butter from my mom, a kong "biscuit ball" from DH, 2 "chew thingies" that lasted about 30 seconds, and the duck in my signature (which lasted about 5 minutes longer then the chew thingies). hehehe

And all three got new chew toys that lasted about 10 minutes... then they go into my sewing box to be fixed. Of course, we wrap their gifts... "opening" presents is their biggest thrill!

My kits got new catnip mice and the ability to hide in all the wonderful new boxes that we humans were inexplicably not interested in!
