Does anyone else get great reservation agents?

I always see threads about people getting reservation agents on the line who don't know about the plans/packages, or who are less than forthcoming with extra info. I however always seem to get through to a wonderful reservation agent at WDW, and this time was no different. I just called in and was told me est. wait time was 4 min, ( but I think it was less than that) and then on came Beatrice (I do believe that is her name...forgive me I am excited about my trip!). She was wonderful, very knowledgable and answered each of my questions. We were booking the FL resident free dining package, and she knew exactly what I was talking about. She mentioned that this deal was a great one and very popular (so if you guys are planning on making reservations, don't wait too long). She joked with me about my choice in resort (Pop, my first time value...but this deal was such a good choice by choosing the value resort) and told me what she likes about it, and what I might find nice. She asked me if I wanted her to request a king bed in the room (I was under the impression that the King bed rooms came at an addition cost like the preferred area, but she said no they are the same as the double standard rooms in cost) so I have my room preferences list- crossing fingers for king bed, non-smoking, in '50s section! She was so nice and we were chatting that we got to the end and I asked if I was to get a confirmation # and she was embarassed that she had forgotten to give it to me. I told her that "it was ok, she was just SO EXCITED about MY vacation!!!"

I work with the public and know how nice it is to be recognized for my efforts, so I plan to send a little note Disney's way just saying how much I liked Beatrice. She was only doing her job, but she was so "honestly" nice and cheerful about it, that it made my calling for the reservation just that much smoother and pleasant.

Does any one else have any nice reservation experences to share?

I had Beatrice the other day too! As soon as I saw this thread I knew it would be her! She wasn't able to get my room :( but she was wonderful!!
We were on the phone for at least 15 minutes both of us gabbing and laughing away. She makes you feel so good even if she can't get you a room at CSR cause its all booked :(

When I made my reservations for September I had a fantastic gentleman and I can't remember his name. He looked around for the best rates at that time, checked if I had a code attached to my name and was able to get me 14th floor at the Contemporary with a MK view!

DW had a wonderful agent on the line the other day, Ruben. She made some PSs and told Ruben she wasn't "holding her breath, but could he please check Chef Mickey's."
He actually came back with "Let me throw a little pixie dust on this." :wizard:
We got our PSs, he noticed a note on our reservation that this trip was to celebrate the kids' birthdays, and asked whether each of our sons would like either Mickey alone, Mickey and Minnie together, or a card with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald Duck and Pluto, and then Ruben said there would be a surprise in our room for each of them when we arrive.

I've called reservations at least 4 times for modification/changes and they are ALWAYS wonderful to me and always give great advice and tips. The two CM's that stand out are Joel and Roxanne....hopefully, when I call again I will get one of them, they are great!!! :flower:

I spoke with Zineb (I hope that's how it's spelled) last week and she was AWESOME!!! We were on the phone for 30 minutes, LOL!

I sent off a quick email to Disney to let them know what a gem they have in her!

When I made my reservation in May, I got Sandy and she was terrific. She also made suggestions for what I should request for room preference since we've never stayed at the CSR. She was an absolute delight.

I spoke to Trina Joy on the phone this morning and she was fantastic! She was friendly and helpful and truly seemed to enjoy what she was doing. By far one of the nicest agents I've ever had the pleasure of speaking with.

I can usually tell in the first couple of seconds of the phone call what kind of mood their in and I just make sure to be overtly friendly if I catch hints of negativity and they seem to turn right around! They usually even open up about their experiences at Disney and we have great conversations. With the last two trips I've talked to so many, I really don't remember names, but not a one gave me any attitude!

I have always had great CM's at CRO. The first guy last year (I can not remember his name) even called me back because he forgot to ask me whether I wanted a room preference. I sent an email about him, I was that impressed.

This week I called and talked with Kaitlin-Beth and she was so great and nice and patient. I love calling CRO - it is SO much fun planning a trip!!!

Great to hear that you guys have also had some positive experiences with CRO!!!

Ok, I meant to email yesterday, but I have looked and can not find the addy I wanted to send my praise of Beatrice to...can some one please let me know where they emailed??

Thanks :wave2:

I've had him as well!! At least I think it's the same one - the one I talked to was for room reservations, not dining. .. but I'd assume that CMs go back and forth on which line they're working from.

Last fall (which unfortunately is the last time I've had to call - everyone cry with me!!) I called not too long after the hurricanes so they were still slammed by people calling to change/cancel/ figure out their reservations on top of the regular people calling for future reservations. I was only only hold for half a song before he picked up and was on the line for probably 10 to 15 minutes. The computers were apparently running VERY slow due to all the calls and CMs accessing info, so he'd make jokes about it and just chat til the info screens would come up. He looked up a couple different options, trying to figure out whether the general code or the PIN code would work better for me (we wanted AKL savannah - so it depended on which code had availability left) Each time he'd try something he'd 'sprinkle the pixie dust' before he hit the button to enter, LOL.

As soon as I got off the phone, I got online and emailed about how wonderful he was and how he's part of the reason people come back to Disney - for service such as that.

I just called for the first time in about 4 yrs. I got Mortamor on the line. He was fantastic. Told me all about the restaurants, what character dining is great for my boys etc. I never asked about them, but while waiting for the system, he just talked and talked and talked, talked about the resort, the pools etc.

Last year when we were planning our trip with only 20 days the first rep I got was no help what so ever and I ended up booking at CBR which was just about my last choice. When I called again to ask a question I got a wonderful rep who was able to get me at PO-FQ (which was my first choice) and took care of christmas party tickets and everything.

The rep I had called himself Maverick. He was very chatty and extremely helpful. We were booking the free dining at Pop, and had some requests that were non-negotiable: connecting room for small children, frig for medicine, non-smoking room due to asthma/allergy.
He was pleasant and friendly during our laundry list, and STILL asked if I had a bldg preference (!) after all of that. Then went on to suggest one bldg. over another, based on the fact that we had small children in strollers and we plan on using the buses.
He patiently explained the ins and outs of the travel insurance.
He was even patient when I realized I had one of my dates wrong. (OOOPS)
Nice guy. :wizard:

Please remember to shoot a quick email to Disney to let them know how great your particular CRO CM did - they DO read these and the CMs get info and incentives back from them. Too many people just save an email for a complaint but positive things are much better to receive!

Very nice stories....BUT in all the years I never had any reservationist go "above & beyond" for me. :sad2:
They are always very curtious & proffesional, but if I didn't ask a guestion, they never offered any advice or anything!
So much so that before I saw the light of these boards, whenever I arrived at a dis resort I always said "I wish the res agent would have told me .......this or that..I didn't know or think to ask!

I usually get good reservations agents. There are only a couple who stand out as being not as good, but even so, they weren't bad, exactly. I can never remember their names, though! I'm a bit of a talker, myself, so when I get a chatty CM, I always worry that we're tying up the line.
