I just booked my time share for October and the first thing I wrote on my planning sheet was booking Boma for dinner that first night! The first list that gets compiled is the places I MUST eat, the places I want to try that I've never been to and old favorites I've missed the last trip or two. After that I'll make notes on the rides/attractions I want to do.
We have all recently lost weight at my house and on our last trips down we decided that we would not focus on food, but on all of the other fun and exciting things that Universal has to offer. Don't get me wrong, we eat at nice places while we are there, but we try not to make that a focal point. Usually we share entrees and our son has a kid's meal. Sometimes we split a dessert.
The restaurants are partly the reason why we chose to stay at the Polynesian this summer after our cruise! We LOVE the Kona Cafe, and I can't wait to take DH to 'Ohana!!!
Yep, I love planning out the meals! After I get what parks on what day figured out, it's off to planning what we're going to eat! And the best thing- we walk around so much, and swim that I don't feel I gain weight at Disney! Double WOOHOO!
I have a SIL who hasn't been to WDW yet and we're working on getting her to go with us. She's worried that all we'll be eating is corn dogs. She's also the one who thinks WDW is "just another amusement park."
I shouldnt admit this, but with you guys, I guess its ok. Not only do I plan what restuarants we are eating at during our trip, but I also have it pretty much decided what I will be having at each place.

I do the same thing. I even have a spreadsheet so I know exactly what I'll be spending on tax and tip as well. But it did start because of my food allergies. Now I love doing it just because that's one more step of planning I get to do.
