And within our beliefs, Jesus IS the reason we will go. The Bible tells us exactly what we need to do. So, from a believers pov, there is no question.

Contradiction?
Not saying anyone here, but my problem is that I know many people who believe they are 'chosen'. That they lead the only and right life. That everyone else is somehow 'less than' and not quite 'worthy'. They are the worst at judging others and their lives. If you delve into their pasts
. They are very self-righteous and yet live less than stellar lives to this day. Just because you go to church, tithe and read the Bible does not mean you will be among the chosen. Just because you believe in God does not mean that you can continue to do whatever you feel and wash that all away with being truly repentent at the end (and the heck with the inbetween).
