Does Anyone Do This?

You know I've been on this board for like 4-5 years, and never heard the word 'snarky' until I came here.........and still don't hear it anywhere else BUT here.

Is snarky a 'dis thing'? Like all the acronyms TTBAB, ToT, BTMR, etc?
Check out a little site called "Television Without Pity" -- I believe they are the ones who brought "snark" into common language.

I'm totally going to try this. If it doesn't work, at least I'll have my free parking pass from POP to show them anyway. :rotfl:

Please make sure to sing on key or I'm seeing a YouTube post in your future:rolleyes1

Good luck:goodvibes

We were at Disney last week staying at the contemporary. After a morning at animal kingdom we decided to head to dtd. Took the first resort bus that showed up and transferred there. It took us more than an hour. And the bus back to the contemporary after dtd was 45 minutes. It made us avoid busses at all costs the rest of our trip - we even skipped studios because we dreaded doing any more busses!

I actually asked this question at Guest Services at DTD quite innocently I might add. The CM was really nice about it saying why there was no convenient transportation from DTD to the Parks - Disney intends for people to pay for parking and buses at DTD are for resort guests - but if I wanted to try it advised me to go to POP. This advise really worked in Disney's favor as I liked Pop so much that I booked my next trip there staying on site - probably why the CM suggested it - knowing I wanted to save some money and would go for a value resort!:rotfl:

Anyway - I was curious about this question because I know Florida residents can get seasonal passes which do not include parking. I am in the process of moving to Florida and was wondering which pass to get. I was here during a Monday holiday and Florida residents were at the Parks in great numbers - many parking at DTD and using Disney transport to get to the parks - even signs out suggesting to use POR as the transfer point. All in all - I have decided the best way to go is to pay for the AP that includes parking - it is SOOOO worth it and I have already saved hundreds of dollars in parking. I have also decided as a Florida resident I will buy an AP that includes parking - it is just worth it for me!:goodvibes

So either way - Disney gets my vote - I will stay onsite for the convenience when I want the Disney "magic" of a Disney resort, buy into dvc for the deluxe resort experience and get a regular AP that includes parking!
