Does anyone do late entry plans?

Planing to go in January and we are planning to go to the parks after lunch and stay until close. On two of those days we are staying for extended evening hours (Epcot and MK). We have 8 day tickets so will do each park twice (one late day, one early day). Other than stacking genie plus in the afternoon and buying ILL, any strategies?

No other strategies. Stacking LLs for late afternoon and evening works perfect for Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom.

Not so great for Epcot, because only 3 attractions really need LL (Remy, Frozen, Test Track), and by the time you are eligible to book your third LL, they will all probably be gone.

For AK, the only two you will need LL for will be Navi and Safari.

We usually go to the parks late in the afternoon, too. In addition to booking ILL$ and stacking Genie+LLs, I also modify our LLs when possible to minimize walking back and forth across the park and also to allow time to watch shows and parades, not to mention eat meals!

I guess the other potential strategy is lines tend to get shorter as the evening goes on so if you can't get LLs for headliners I would put them towards the end of the night where possible.

I also agree with the modifying LLs and trying to move them earlier when possible is good for the evening and also refreshing to get those headliners. Often people are cancelling LLs they booked at 8AM for headliners because they aren't in the park anymore.
