We're going to be in a 2br at OKW and I would love to decorate a bit for Halloween. My mom and I love halloween and I think DD#1 would love it. So does anyone decorate their hotel room? What do you do? :scared1:

I have never decorated before, really never there for a holiday, but I have seen rooms decorated by people especailly around Christmas.

We were at the POR and there was a room with a string of lights around the inside of thier window as wellas a little tree they bought to put in the front window as well that was all decorated.

I think you should go for it! Get some pumpkin or bat litghts to hang in the window. Maybe stick a jack-o-lantern in the window to light up. (Fake of coarse) and maybe some cut outs in the window as well of ghosts!

Last year when we were at SSR for Halloween, we decorated our room. We aren't really "Halloween People" but for some reason at Disney we were. So, we brought down some ghost and pumpkin lights and strung them up outside on our patio. We ran a small extension cord and turned them on at night when we were in the room (the door had to open a crack to get the extension cord through). On the night we went to MNSSHP, we put out a carved pumpkin-which we picked up at Publix during our grocery stop, on the patio. Inside we put a glow stick--not telling how long it lasted, but it looked good when we left. We had some cutouts we taped to the front door and a happy halloween banner we hung inside the room by the kitchen.
Hope that helps!

Last year we stayed at the all star movies mid october.Right before we left the disney store had halloween decor on sale. We hung halloween mickey in the window and a few other things around the window. The kids loved it.We are going to be at the pop this year the 12th-18th and we will have it decorated :Pinkbounc

I am planning on decorating our room a little bit for our December 1-7 trip. Some lights around the windows and window clings anyway. Maybe a wreath for the door.

I decorate mine with dirty clothes

:bounce: I always deocorate our room while we are there for Christmas! We are there for Dec. 16 through Dec. 28. I put up a tree with presents under the tree and I put up our stockings. It is great to be at WDW for the holidays! :cheer2:
