Does anybody order shirts?

I want to make a few shirts for my family but I'm worried about messing up shirts if I iron the transfer myself (our iron sucks, it gets super hot and last time I tried it I burned a transfer). Do any of you just order a customized photo shirt with the designs you get here? If so, what site do you use? Any copyright issues encountered using those services? Thanks!

I am curious about this too. I need to use a wicking shirt because I will be running in it and I don't think a transfer will work on this material.

it's my experience that screenprinting shops will NOT touch anything with a Disney design on it. If it's some abstract non-Disney (non-anything copyrighted) design, they'll do it but they could get sued for "making a profit" on a Disney design and if you had to pay them a cent or more, then they'd be making a profit. Now if it's my spouse or family that has the shop, perhaps you could work something out. Otherwise, you'd have to "create" your own design (or find an unscrupulous vendor).

What are the contents of that wicking shirt? I've used an iron on 100% cotton as well as 50/50 cotton/poly & it worked just fine. (Just set up the iron properly!)

I am going to try a transfer on the wicking material (all polyester). I kept researching and I saw some safety glow transfers to put on wicking shirts online so I know it can be done, I just have to find the right transfer. Thanks!!!!
