Does Airtran offer a discount for those under 2 years?

We already have our flight booked and didn't buy a seat for the baby who will be 14 months old at the time of our trip. I know some airlines offer lower fares for those under 2 but I didn't see anything on Airtrans website. Thanks!

I don't think there are any domestic carriers who offer discounts for children under 2 on domestic flights. Delta used to, but they stopped that years ago. I believe there are discounts on international flights, but we haven't flown with one that young in over 3 years.

Not sure about Airtran but last time we flew with an infant was 6 years ago and US air gave us a half price ticket. It was half of what we paid and not half of the most expensive non discounted.

None that I know of either. An under two year old can fly free domestically if he/she sits on your lap (birth certificate required at check-in). Is this the discount you were thinking about?
