Does AAA discount park tickets ???

Someone told me I can buy my park tickets through AAA at a disdount. Is it true?? Any advice appreciated.

I believe they still discount Disney but they have a very limited supply as far as choices.I think maybe 1 or 2 hopper kinds. You can go to AAAs website and there is a part you can click on that says Theme Park Tickets. You can see all the different parks they offer discounts for.

i just checked this a little while ago. they sell 4 day and 6 day park hoppers! never seen a 6 day park hopper without pluses but this is what their site said.

I bought my Disney tickets through AAA. However, I bought my Seaworld tickets via the Seaworld web site. If you purchase E-Tickets, you get a substancial discount.

4 day Park hopper thru AAA is $198.00a/156.00c, 6 day park hopper is $277.34a/222.50c.

Prices include tax but I'm not sure about S/H.

I'm also not sure if the prices differ by state. This is for AAA of NY. Give them a call to double check (800)654-6656

When I was comparing Disney advance purchase tickets to AAA in NY this was the info I received.

Adult 4 day PH $198, childs $156 AAA
Adult 4 day PH advanced purchase $204.48 disney
Childs 4 day PH advanced purchase $161.88 disney

Adult 6 day PH $276, childs $222.50 AAA
There is no 6 day hopper I can find on the disney tickets site
Adult 5 day PH advanced purchase $231.11 disney
Childs 5 day PH advanced purchase $183.18 disney

AAA does not off 5 day, or annual passes anymore.

Does anyone know why the rates & types of tickets offered should differ state to state? Could someone AAA in NJ or CT help me out, I need 5 day PH passes?

I have more info. It seems each state offers different packages, passes, & prices on tickets. But I can walk into a CT AAA with my NY card & purchase the 5 day PH I need. Hope this info helps others!

If you do buy from AAA ask for the parking pass you still have to pay but it gets you right up front

Somebody from these states, please verify if these prices are true. It seems that these maybe last years ticket prices. But this site was updated on 1/24/03. These states seem to have the lowest price.

This is the cheapest I have seen! Monday I will try & verify this. I was told by the CT office they need to be picked up there. I am driving to WDW from NY so I hope there is an office along the route I am taking. For 2 adults & 2 children thats a savings of $64.78 off the Disney advanced ticket purchase rate, nothing to sneeze at.

Ask them about the 6HP prices for TN and GA. I think these tickets are 6HP+ because the regular price seems to be Disney's 6HP+.

This summer we are driving from Dallas to Louisville to Gettysburg to Washington DC to Williamsburg and back to Dallas. So I am checking all the states of where I am driving through.

Don't forget to get your AAA special parking space ticket when you buy your park tickets. You get to park close at the theme parks but not for free (unless you are staying inside the resort).

Thanks for all this great info I got. I need 7 day park hopper plus. So I figured I'd get the 6 day hoppers and buy my TL tickets separately. Definitely save money. However, we don't stay all day at TL so we won't have a park to hop to that night. We're already going to seaworld (so that means no park that day) and I decided no park the day we leave (we're staying at Poly and we always go to MK the last day, but it will be the Gay day Sat. so it will be way too crowded).

So I'm not sure I can handle the 3rd day on Disney property and not being able to go to a major park.

Conclusion: Got to have 7 day park hopper plus.

And who says WDW is not addicting?

Each AAA Motor Club has its own contract with Disney - so prices do vary.
