Does a Brita water filter get rid of sulphur taste?

I can't believe I don't remember if the filter takes that sulphur taste out of the Florida water. I might pack my slim Brita pitcher to bring w/ because we have a volleyball tournament at ESPN/Orlando before our WDW part of the trip, but only if it actually takes that taste out of the water. It might be easier than lugging heavy water jugs from the market, etc. I also have the Brita squeeze water bottles w/ the little filter in it which I may pack for the parks if they work. Anybody? Thanks!!!:goodvibes

I hope so. We're bringing our Brita water bottles with us.

We used our brita water bottles on our trip last summer. They were amazing! We never noticed any odd taste. They were lightweight and easy to carry so we could fill and drink whenever to stay hydrated.

Yes they do. But if you don't want something to carry around with you, you can get ice water at any place that has fountain drinks, the water is filtered and tastes great! We just got back yesterday and I really hate the taste of Florida water. I had ice water at every meal as I don't drink soda, and was a happy camper! :)

we take our Brita bottles all the time. They work great on the FL water.

I think the bottles work better then the pitcher and as others have posted the bottles work very good.

I have been using the Brita squeeze bottles for many, many years now at Disney. Yes, they work very well at removing the "Florida water" taste. Another good thing is that they have a wide neck so that you can add ice to the water - tastes even better!:drinking1

One tip is to remove the grey colored ring. It keeps the bottle from sealing well unless you really screw it down.

Walmart used to sell an insulated sleeve that perfectly held it but they just recently stopped selling them.

We are bringing our filtered Camelbak water bottles with us. Normally we'd have a case of water bottles but we are flying so we'll have to make do.

Not sure about the Brita, but I do know that Bobbles do!

ETA: We got some neoprene sleeves at Walmart, in the biking/camping section, that fit the medium sized bobbles. You can clip them on to a belt or backpack with a clip.
