Any So. Cal locals know of the easiest and most budget friendly way to get to Dodger Stadium from Anaheim?

I'm planning my next trip to DL and want to go during the summer while baseball season is going so I can catch my Dodgers play.....but I won't have any access to a car. Any ideas? Taxi, bus? Help please:confused:

a taxi is gonna cost you about $80 one way with tap....kinda expensive. i believe renting a town car is gonna cost you about the same if not more. if i were you i would try to rent a car for the day it's the cheapest way.

I'm ashamed to admit this but I don't have a driver's license so renting a car is out of the question...even if I did have a license I think it would be more hassle then it's worth since I'm under 25. I wish I could do that though, it would save me money on my plane tickets too.

Honestly you may be out of luck. The only way I can see you going to a game is to take Amtrak from Anaheim to LA Union Station on a weekend. The metrolink trains don't run on weekends on the OC Line. From Union Station you can probably catch a bus or even taxi to Dodger Stadium. If there is a day weekday game, its possible to do but it doesn't seem likely for a night game as it would be much harder to do.

Yeah that's the game I was planning on going to. I'll figure it out somehow. Have fun, the first time I stepped foot in Dodger Stadium I had to shed a tear, it was one of the best days of my life :lmao: I've been a Dodgers fan since birth, haven't been to a game though since they came out to Vegas in '06.

Actually the Metrolink Orange line does run on weekends now, so that helps a little bit with more train choices. My brother checked on bus options from Union Station last year and it seemed to him non-existent. Maybe this year the Dodgers will work out something for all those people who would like to take MTA Red, Blue, or Gold into town to see a game. I know the San Francisco Muni runs special game day extra transportation to the Giants stadium - don't know why LA's MTA wouldn't follow suit.

Cool, I got tickets on Ebay just last week! I got some tickets in Row A of the second level in the outfield for $40 for two tickets, can't wait hope I catch one of those long foul balls!
