Doctor Who Season 4!!!

Not a problem. I've been busy too. My aunt(my mom's sister) died yesterday & I arranged a trip to Tampa for my mom & I to go to the funeral. My mom's travel agent quoted her $240 one-way, so it was going to be $480 for each of us to go .

I found a fare - leaving Monday morning, coming back Wednesday evening for a grand total of $179 ROUND TRIP per person. Got the National Emerald Aisle car for $120 and printed out a coupon to get on-site Express Parking at BWI for $9/day (with complimentary shuttle from our parking space to the terminal).

Thanks for the info about how the episodes are being chopped-up. I *knew* I liked watching Dr. Who on BBCAmerica so much better.

Yeah, I thought the episode was brilliant, but then I got online and was reading some of the items on the BBC site about the episode and I was like, huh? I didn't see that... So now I'm going to have to watch it again online (not that I'm complaining...) but it would REALLY be nice to watch the REAL episode with my family instead of having it chopped to bits.

However, what parts of the episode I did see were absolutely brilliant. Glad to see that Donna isn't who I feared she would be (just there to be goofy), that she's really got a heart. And I would say that the Pyroviles rock... but that'd be just too corny.

I hate that they cut the shows. But I am telling myself that I would rather see even the CUT version Now, rather than wait for the DVD's to come out.
(which I will buy as soon as they are avalible!)

I didn't know SciFi channel edited the ep's either! Since DH and I missed most of Season 3, we finally got caught up watching all of them on BBC America. We did notice that on one ep there was a scene that neither of us remembered watching on SciFi channel when it first aired. Now I know why!

It wasn't my favorite, but I watched it again today and found that it seems it was unedited for Sci-Fi! Woot!

But even a second viewing couldn't lessen the dread I felt at Ood Sigma's parting words to The Doctor. If he means what I think he means... oh my.

I was really enjoying it until the Ood said THAT!! DH and I were VERY disturbed by it. hopefully it was not about regeneration and about something else.

Speaking of Rose, DH and I just caught up with these last 3 weeks. At the end of the first ep, Rose was there but then disappeared. What was up with that ? I do remember The Doctor telling her that they couldn't see each other ever again b/c of The Breach.

I almost didn't recognize her - she looked different, almost like she's had some 'work' done...

I have predicted this in other threads, but I think it has to have something to do with Torchwood's rift. Especially since Rose (this was revealed in "Doomsday") works for Torchwood on Pete's World. I don't know (and don't want to know) but this is part of what I predicted.

I never thought of that. I just mentioned it to DH and he thinks that Torchwood's rift is time and space and not interdimensional. Leave it to DH to put a monkey wrench into things

Oh well, 'twas a good theory.

Also a good theory. I did predict that we'd start seeing some references to Bad Wolf... that'd be good for a start and an open mouthed gasp; I'd look like an idiot in front of my almost-clueless family. I'm sure that when she does return I'll be an absolute mess and they'll look at me like I just unzipped my forehead or something.
