Doctor Who Dicussion *Episode Guide on Post 27! Warning: Contains Spoilers*

Robot is also great, this is the episode when Tom takes over as the Doctor.

So I see from Wikipedia.. May need to give it a try; perhaps when my big bro gets home. It looks kinda cool. :)

Managed to successfully convert a person who didn't watch the last doctor who series. Yay me! :)

Edit: Forgot to mention; Doctor Who Webby is updated. Also noticed that if you look on the Tardisode page, there is a Bad Wolf Logo. Bad Wolf was SO series one. :) Although, I am perpetually looking for Torchwood references.

Here's a little treat for Old series-ers. :)

I wonder which one's the doctor. :)

And a treat for the new series people too. :teeth:

Merry (late) Christmas!

Episode 4 is over. Any thoughts?

I thought that it was AWESOME!!! The whole timewindow thing was so cool! I thought that this was reinacting something from the old series, as they kept saying that Madame Du Pompadour had met the Doctor when young (so I assume that they met in the old series).

I missed 5 minutes because they changed the schedule! Fortunately, it was only the pre-show credits.. Oh well, I am going to watch it twice more anyway... :) But they didn't mention it'd be earlier at ANY point! I mean, I go on the net and I had NO idea about it!

Anyone else feel left out?

The first time they met was in the first few minutes of the episode, so that's why you missed it. She was seven years old at the time I think, and the Doctor came through her fireplace and fought off one of the clockwork robots with a fire extinguisher.

We nearly missed it as well - just happened to turn over early and found the episode already starting.

Not quite as exciting Sue's staring role last series but never-the-less

My m-i-l sold the dolls house and the furniture that appeared in the girl's bedroom! She was curious when someone was spending £250 worth in one go on a dolls house so she asked.

Sadly she won't have seen it as she is in Italy (and doesn't watch Doctor Who anyway!) Might video the repeat for her though!

It was a great story!

A shame you missed a bit but I'm sure you didn't miss anything vital. I'm really enjoying this series - I thought I wouldn't after CE. I've recently read a novel "The Time Travellers Wife" and I think maybe Russell Davies has read it too!;)

Glad that you are clearly relishing every Doctor Who moment. I have just booked a trip to Blackpool so that my DS can visit the Doctor Who Museum (it has 600 exhibits) It sounds like you might enjoy a similar holiday PM!

Take care
Rosie

I heard about that! It looks so cool and I hope to drag my parents one day! :teeth:

Did anyone try the Doctor Who game on the website? It is SO hard, and you have no idea what you are doing! You just have to wonder about hoping that something tells you what to do!

It's not my fault they made it too complicated... :guilty:

Heard about that too. It has the Sycorax leader and New Earth stuff there now. :thumbsup2

Has anyone notice that we all come and post on the day that a new Doctor Who episode appears? Weird.. We are like a book club!! :lmao: :rotfl2:

I wasn't that impressed with tonights episode ~ sorry, I'm not sure if I'm finding David Tennant irritating or that I really miss Christopher Eccleston

OMG ~ The Cybermen are in next weeks episode ~ They used to scare me so much that I'd hide behind the settee when I was younger

I disagree; Tennant really brings some comedy to the scene. Although, I think the whole Madame du Pompadour kiss scene makes it look like this series will turn into a Casanova series.. :teeth:

They did make it up by showing David Tennant after he has had a few.. :drinking1 :rotfl2: That was hi-larious to watch. :goodvibes

Cybermen are cool, but they get killed off too easy in the old series. Also, they had weird voices, espicially on the 5th Doctor (onwards) episodes, where they had very camp voices! :rotfl2: I hope they got voice upgrades..

Aww... :goodvibes

Don't forgot to move the sofa up for next week!

Well, I was terrified by Saturday night's episode! :scared1:

I think it had something to do with the masks, I was fine with them when they took them off. DH had his hand squeezed all the way through this one

Pokemon_master, I agree about the Cybermen, I hope they have made them a little harder to defeat.

Rosie, I too thought it was like the Time Traveller's Wife, we commented on this whilst we were watching it (and what a great book that is!)

Rosie and Pokemon_master, I thoroughly recommend the Doctor Who museum in Blackpool. Me and DH had a trip there last summer and really enjoyed ourselves. Loads of exhibits (particularly monsters), K-9, a mock up of the TARDIS, and even up-to-date exhibits from the previous series. They also have a great shop with loads of hard to get Doctor Who videos.

You are not alone. My sister can't go into a dark room without getting paranoid about Clockwork people. She was like this during the last series with the whole Gas Mask Zombie thing.. Hope you feel better soon ArielJasmine! :goodvibes :grouphug:

If you think that is bad, imagine how it is for Sophia Myles. She's scared of clowns, and had to act in front of them!

Here is something interesting to get your mind off it.. I found it on the Doctor Who webby:

Notice the missing space between in and the. :rotfl2: :lmao:

Thanks for the good vibes, pokemon_master! Maybe tonight I will actually be able to get into bed without first looking under it for clockwork people! (And wondering what the heck that big lump is and then remembering it is my dance mat :rotfl2: )

Tell your sister I sympathise about the gas mask zombies - my DH only has to say "Are you my mummy?" to send me screaming in the opposite direction :rotfl:

LOL, so true.. Same here! Even I am freaked out by "Are you my mummy?" - Shudders -

I am public enemy number 1 in my sister's eyes for saying to her, who only JUST managed to stop being paranoid about Clockwork people that (and this is a quote) "If you thought they were scary, we have a 2 part episode on Cybermen next!". I get the feeling she's not going to watch that... :teeth:

She did managed to get through Werewolves; which means she should be OK for most of the series. :)

After randomly looking at sites on the Net, I have discovered a horrible truth about the ending to the 2 part episode on Cybermen..

BUT I am not going to tell you! :) You'll have to find out for yourself in 2 weeks time! :teeth:

I really liked Saturday's show.
