Docs for 11/2 and Disney Reminder

I picked up our documents today from our travel agent for our 11/2 Eastern itinerary cruise. There is a big neon orange sticker on the front of the box that reads,

"IMPORTANT IMMIGRATION DOCUMENTATION REMINDER
Disney Cruise Line will deny boarding to Guests without proper documentation."

It then lists the 3 IDs acceptable.

Has there been a problem with people trying to sail without the right ID? Has DCL really not allowed passengers to board?

We didn't get this reminder on our other Disney cruises.

I'm sure it's a result of Sept 11. And you can be sure if you don't have proper documentation you will be denied boarding. We are cruising the same week as you. We have passports and I'm taking a raised seal copy of all our birth certificates also as a backup. See you on the cruise! We got our documents today... Cheers, Gary

This is great guys! We sail 4 wks after you so in the next month or so we should be seeing our docs.
I pulled out the birth certs for myself and DS just the other day. If DH cruises with us he will need to get himself his birth cert.
I cruised in Dec on NCL and what I have is sufficient.

We all have passports, so we are ready....we just need the document package.

We booked our 11/2 cruise directly with DCL. FedEx tried to deliver our paperwork on 9/18. Too bad we weren't here to get them. Had to get them directly from FedEx myself later in the week.

Yours should be showing up any day now.
