Do your kids look alike?

I saw some siblings that obviously were siblings, little clones of each other almost and was thinking how that happens or not. If you put our 3 kids together you can tell they are related but any 2 together and you would never guess they were siblings (strange actually). DS15 looks more like 2 of his cousins then he does his siblings and DD15 looks like my paternal Grandma but not her siblings. DS18 looks like I did at that age. Then I see families where the kids, other than age, could be identical twins.

So, how about your kids?

My 2 girls look nothing alike. As matter of fact, I'm still wondering who gave birth the the second one! She looks nothing like any of us, while the oldest looks just like her father.

My sister and me were the same way. People didn't and still don't believe we are sisters because we look nothing alike.

They look enough a like that people can tell they are related. DD13 looks very much like DHs side of the family and DS11 looks like mine.

DD has a big bone structure (NOT fat--think Michelle Obama) , dark olive skin, dark brown hair, cury dark brown eyes and she is tall and curvy for her age (she is 5' 8" and I have to pull her passport to prove she is under 18 on a regular basis). DS is super thin and has delicate features, very pale (every new doctor tests him for anemia because he is so white), has light brown hair and light brown eyes and is small for his age (people generally guess him at about 2 years younger than he is).

There have been multiple occasions when people have thought DD was DS's mother (they are not quite two full years apart!).

I have a boy and a girl and they look just like me. They look like twins but 4 years apart. Thank goodness they look like me and not the other side of the family. LOL

You can definitely tell that our kids are siblings - they look like the female and male versions of the same person!!!

My 2 boys don't look or act alike. I have friends that joke around asking if I'm sure they are related. Oldest is red hair, hazel eyes, and tall. Youngest is brown hair, blue eyes, and very short (7th%) I thought #2 would be a clone of #1 since they are only 12 months apart, but they couldn't be more different!

Mine don't look alike.

My daughter has strawberry blonde hair (darker red now that she is 18) and son has blonde hair. You wouldn't look at them and say they are related. Only recently do I think DD looks like me. My son looks more like DH.

When they were little, yes they did look alike. Now not so much.

You stick DD next to any of her 4 female cousins and there is no guessing that they are related.

I know two Italian boys from NY. One looks like "Guisseppe" from the old country. His brother looks Norwegian. Its like night and day. My sister and I don't look like sisters. Imagine the actresses Rosie Perez and Kristen Stewart from Twilight. That's me and my sister.

Yes, my boys look a lot alike. Couple that with the fact that they are only 14 months apart we get asked all the time if they are twins. In fact, when we were in WDW in May we must have been asked a dozen times a day if they were twins.

I don't have kids. In my family my siblings and I didn't really look like each other. My family is native Hispanos in New Mexico and Hispanos have a very mixed background. Some people tends to look very fair skin with light hair colors and blue or green eyes while others have darker complexions and hair. One of my brothers looks like my dad with dark hair and skin while my other brother has my mom's fair skin complexion. My sister and I look more like my dad's sisters.

My boyfriend has two sisters that almost look like twins. Some people thought they were fraternal twins when they attended an out-of-state college program.

My boys look alike. My baby picture and my husbands baby picture look so much alike. So the kids are a great combination of both of us. My sisters and I don't at all. Its like, what did the milkman or mailman look like?

I have red hair, green eyes my two sisters have dark brown hair and eyes. They have olive complexions and I have the milk toast glow.

I have a brunette, redhead and a blonde so NOPE they don't look alike at all!

everyone says my kids look just alike.. some days I see it, some days i don't at all. I mean they look like siblings, but not identical like some people say!

I only have one but I have an IDENTICAL sister who is 11 months older than me.

Then I have twin cousins who don't even look like acquaintances!!

DD11 and DS3 look alike. DS9 doesn't look like them, but DD11 and DS9 have the same exact voice (Well, for now anyway ). I've occasionally yelled at the wrong kid because I heard one of them say something unacceptable but I didn't see who said it.
