Do you work when your sick ?

We don't get sick days, so if I am just a little 'off' I go to work. If I puking or really sick, I stay home. As pathetic as it sounds, it also depends on how my vacation schedule looks: If I have a long vacation scheduled later in the year, I am more likely to 'tough it out', since I would be required to take a vacation day if I call in sick.

It depends on how sick. Mild symptoms, then yes. Full blown cold/etc., no. I teach preschool, and my director asks us to stay home if we are sick, so we don't "share"...

Must be nice, I work in a preschool too and unless you have blood coming out of your eyes they pretty much expect you to be there. They like to tell people that it's ok to call in you're sick, but it doesn't go over well if you try.
