Do you work for Sears?

Just wondering if they still give employees a discount. Seems many retail establishments are doing away with this employee "perk".

A co-worker works at Sears part-time. They do still give employee discounts (not for online ordering) but sometimes the coupons give you a better discount than the employee discount.

Thanks. I am considering part-time in their Lands End dept and they didn't mention any discounts. Wondering if that dept is separate from Sears as a whole.

when DH worked for a company owned by Sears, we got the same disc at Sears employees and we were allowed to use coupons w/ the employee disc. Clothes/shoes were 20% everything else was 10%. Keep watching, their friends & family day (which is on a Sunday, after reg. store hrs) should be coming up pretty soon.

My mom is a manager of a Sears store. Yes employees get 20% on soft lines (clothing, shoes, jewelry, bedding) 10% on hard lines (hardware, appliances, ect.). Employees can still use coupons in addition to the discount.

when Sears first acquired Lands End, you could use the coupons for the LE stuff (at least here where I am, you could). Now, I've noticed that almost every Sears coupon excludes LE and some coupons even excl other prods sometimes like Levi's ,etc. I have rec'd some coupons specifically for LE mds, but they are definitely different than the standard Sears coupons. Oh and BTW, many of the coupons for Sears now excl clearance mds. Do they want to get rid of the old stuff or don't they?
