Do you wear your contacts on fast rides?

I wear my contacts on everything and never have a problem with most of the rides. The only one I have trouble keeping my eyes open on is Test Track when you're on the outside part.

I've been wearing contacts (many different types) for over 34 years now and I've never had one pop out.

The only thing I do notice is on the rides that have black lights (do they still call them that?) I will see a purple haze in my eyes. It stops once I leave that area.

I wear contacts that are good for one month (now I have to wear Mutli-focal;) ) and I bring at least one spare pair. I don't carry solution with me.

The only place I can have issues with my lenses is at the water parks, from water getting in my eyes. Good news is the first aid stations have those little vials of solution you can use. I think I have also gone to a first aid station at DLR once, when I got something blurry on my lense. They didn't have the individual vials but did have a large bottle I was able to use to rinse off my lenses. ;) Disney's first aid stations are actually pretty well stocked. :goodvibes

BTW, my DM and DD10 wear glasses and leave them on on most rides. We haven't lost a pair yet.:goodvibes

Do you wear your contacts on fast rides? We are going to WDW and I can't decide if I should wear my contacts or my glasses (which I hate). I don't want my contacts to fly out of my eyes if I get on a fast ride like Space Mountain and etc. What are your experiences with this?

I can't even begin to imagine a contact lens just popping out of one's eye from riding a rollercoaster (or even from standing in a Cat 1 or 2 hurricane) Unless they are incredibly poor-fitting but then the pain of wearing them would be too intense to actually wear them.

Only time I take mine out is if I'll be in a pool. Then I wear my prescription sunglasses.
