Do you wear tennis shoes with jeans??

At work -

Dark denim, trouser jeans with a lightweight sweater or a button down tailored shirt, maybe a khaki twill jacket/blazer and heels or boots.

Around town/weekends -

Softer, less structured jeans with a t shirt or lightweight sweater with flip flops or sneakers.

One person wearing jeans to work might look perfectly presentable (depending on the work location!) and another might look slobby and unprofessional. I think a lot has to do with the particular work location.

I wear jeans a lot and wear all kinds of shoes with them depending on my mood. If people out there don't approve of my shoes, that's their problem not mine.

well, since I work in a factory, yes i wear tennis shoes with jeans every day. So do most of the people I work with. Some do have to wear steel toed shoes, so they can't.
I'd look pretty funny walking around pushing a pallet jack in heels, wouldn't I? I may get some help pushing it though!

I almost spit my drink all over my computer!! That put a funny picture in my mind.

Agreed! I'm pretty sure from reading this thread that there are a lot of people thinking bad things about me on the weekends.

Well, I have jeans, a t-shirt and crocs on today, so I'm surprised my family was even walking with me!

It depends on the shirt. If I wear a fleece or sweatshirt, it's tennis shoes all the way.

If I'm wearing a blouse or a nice sweater, I'll wear a dressier shoe or boots.

I never wear sneakers with jeans but I then again I hate sneakers I recently started walking 3 miles a day though and after doing that one day in flip-flops, I learned that walking sneakers are my friend! So, to exercise, I wear my farty old white Nikes but would never wear them with jeans With my more casual, everyday jeans I wear either flip=flops or clogs. With my nicer"dressier" jeans, I wear boots or sandals with a bit of a heel.
