Do you wear makeup to the parks?

sunscreen, mascara and lipstick-- I always take my brightest shade on vacation. :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl:

Nope, it melts in the heat and humidity. Just give me my moisturizer with sunscreen and spf 30 lip balm.

I have naturally wavy hair that I normally blow dry straight. In the parks I leave it wet from the shower with a little curl activator. Believe it or not, this looks much better than what it looks like if I style it and then head out into the humidity!

I usually wear an SPF tinted moisturizer just for a little coverage, mascara and lip balm with spf that has a little color-like almay sheer tints. Most of it comes off if its warm but I just cant leave the room without something. Haha.:)

I do the same, tinted moisturizer, mascara, some color on my lips. I know, I know, it will just melt off, but I can't help it! I do wear my contacts everyday, nothing worse than those glasses sliding down your sweaty nose! :rotfl:

My morning routine at the parks consists of moisturizer on the face, tinted lip balm (love the Aveda with SPF15) and a bit of mascara on the top lashes only. My hair color is light and I just look washed out withouot a bit of mascara. Don't need cheek color because I always pick a pink glow from being in the sun.

I never go anywhere without my Mary Kay skincare and cosmetics. I use day solution with spf15 and foundation and lip gloss no matter what the weather conditions are. At night after I've been in the sun all day, I definitely have to use my night solution to give my skin back it's life. if you do use makeup, use natural colors and you won't feel like you're over made up. But definitely use a facial sunscreen as well as body sunscreen. Don't forget to properly care for your skin at the end of the day. After the sun has baked your skin throughout the day, give it a break by properly caring for it at night. Just my quick tip for the day. :cheer2:

Does anyone know of a good waterproof mascara? I like to at least wear mascara, but when I go on Splash Mountain or Kali River Rapids my face usually gets wet. I hate to get big black smears under my eyes.
(I learned quite a few years ago to not waste my time trying to do anything with my hair when I'm in Florida.)

Generally I wear moisturizer with an SPF of 15, some mascara and lip gloss. At one time I tried to do the hair and makeup thing but that only lasted one day. The heat and the rides messed up my hair and my makeup just seemed to melt off.

I'm really eager to try Bare Minerals, though. The infomercials make that stuff look fabulous!

Sometimes yes and sometimes no. It's just how I fell when I wake up that morning. If I do it's powder and lipstick or gloss. :flower:

I usually apply one of those baby sunscreens or a sunscreen made specifically for the face (spf 50). After it is completely dry, I buff on a little Bare Minerals for a foundation and the Bisque Bare Minerals for an eyeshadow base and undereye concealer. I then use another Bare Mineral eyeshadow that I believe is called 'Well Rested' over the entire eyelid. Anyway is is a cream/lt tan color, so looks natural. I curl my lashes, then apply just a little waterproof mascara to the top lashes only. A little Bath and Body Works lip balm (for the spf) and I'm out the door in less than five minutes.

Several years ago I had permanent makeup applied for eyeliner and both lip liner and full lips. So I can get by without eyeliner and color on the lips. I also carry a little pack of face blotters to the park with me and use everytime I go to a restroom to get rid of the shine. They won't mess your makeup up either.

I have to a gree with others that makeup is gone within a few hours in the Florida heat. I don't wear makeup while in WDW - sunblock only on my face.

Have a magical vacation!

I wear Bare Minerals foundation, which is similar to a powder. I love it and it's SPF20, so I will be wearing that along with mascara and lip gloss- nothing major.

This is what I do. Swirl, tap, buff and I'm done :)

I can't not wear my makeup, I feel strange. I hadn't even thought about the spf in foundation..but thats a good reason to wear it alone. I guess if you are going to put on spf anyway....

i usually only wear foundation/lip gloss/mascara.

For waterproof mascara, I skip my usual dept. store stuff and go straight to the drug store. It is the big pink one. I think it is Maybelline. Maybe called great lash. Look around --big and pink Maybelline or Covergirl/ I would look but I haven't bought mine for the summer yet. I wear it to the pool and it is fine. Mind you I don't do much dunking or actual swimming, but kids splash my face a lot.
I have watched several shows that it is recommended. It's pretty cheap. Pick some up and give it a try before you go. Be sure and bring remover with you, though.

I have no knowledge of the Mary Kay product. People I know that use Mary Kay are happy with it.

I ALWAYS wear my makeup!! :rotfl: Especially for those pics. I feel ugly and naked without it. I even carry my powder foundation, lipstick and blush with me to freshen up when we hit the bathrooms!! Hopefully I get a little sun and then I can skip the blush. L'oreal makes a good waterproof mascara. Maybeline always flakes on me for some reason.

Who me?
I don't even were it @ home.
Or anywhere else.

I wear a little make up to the parks mainly mascara and eyeliner along w/ lip gloss.

Yikes I don't go anywhere without makeup! :guilty: Love, love love my Bare Minerals makeup! :flower: I also found a great "primer" that makes your makeup last much longer. It's called A Primer by Serious Skincare. HSN sells it but they have it at Ulta too.

I wanted to wear makeup, but my wife caught me and made me take it off :rotfl:
