Do you wear "character" clothing? edit

I admit that I would have thought a complete Piglet-themed outfit on an adult was tacky, too :teeth:.

I don't think that I would wear a Piglet outfit either....but 90 % of my t-shirts, which is pretty much all I wear, are Disney related.
Right now I have on the green Tigger that says Walt Disney World underneath. I wear my Mickey watch every day.

My car has a Captain Mickey Antenna ball and a Been there, done that.............. license plate surround on it :p

I LOVE being tacky!!!! ;)

TACKY QUEEN here-----I have and WEAR,,Mickey, AND OF COURSE TINK,,t-shirts, watches, ear rings, Gosh I even have a MICKEY bowling ball and HAND PAINTED (from a friend) Mickey bowling shoes!!!! I wear A 100 YEAR Celebration HAT On BAD HAIR DAYS!!! AND I wont even go into what I wear when I am AT DISNEY WORLD>>>>OH MY --I AM A TACKY TACKY TINK LOLOL!!!!!

I am sorry that you feel that way.:(

Tacky woud be wearing black socks and sandals with my Character shirt and kilt...so, I guess I am properly dressed :D

I have lots of character clothing. Right now I have on a Mickey T-Shirt. When visiting the parks, I plan my shirt based on where we will be. Crazy? Yup! That's me! But, I have fun!!!!

Tacky here too! I have many tanks, tees, shorts, etc. with a Mickey or Minnie on them somewhere. Some are kind of bold but many are just a small logo or embroidery. Just wearing them cheers me up when I need a little help on a troublesome day. But I must admit, even my own family gets a bit of a giggle out of the sport socks with the Mickey pom pom heads on them. I actually have THREE pair. One pair even has Minnie's red bow!

I am not a T-shirt person at all really... I hate tucking in shirts so I rarely will buy a T-shirt. I will though, buy babydoll style shirts, sweatshirts, coats & all that with an icon on it. Most of my shirts do not have icons on them, but that is my style. I do have some shirts with stuff on them, but a lot of my stuff is subtle or mostly jewelry.

However, I like seeing some of the T-shirts out there and I think some of the outfits out there are adorable!!!! It shows to me that they are a kid at heart! I am a quirky lady, so I truly believe if someone loves it, then they should wear it :)

You know it's funny, I worked with children all my life and wore Disney shirts and sweaters both at work and not at work. it was part of my persona. But since retiring ( and moving to an area where no one associates me with kids ) I don't wear Disney stuff so much. I still wear it, but I do own other things now :sunny:

I have worn outfits that looked like I walked out of the Disney Store magazine. I have the Easter outfit from two years ago and this Christmas..I wore the Black velvet dress and my kids wore the matching red dress and red vest. So am I tacky..maybe. But as others have said..I love disney clothes. I purposely seek out the Disney catalog to buy Disney clothes that are cute and on sale!

Add me to the addicted. I only wear the t-shirts though and not the whole ensemble. I must have 20 character t shirts at the moment. I am wearing one of my Mickey Mouse ones right now. When I go on my WDW trips I make it a point to buy 5 new t-shirts! I got twice a year so that adds 10 new shirts to my growing collection every year. Of course I also buy plenty at the Disney store to help me through the dry spots between trips!

I think there is something wrong with someone who has never purchased disney clothing on their trips

seriously how can you not shop till you drop?
I have plenty of disney stuff, clothing, collectibles etc
every member in my immediate family does
and we're not weird

Well... since I'm sitting here wearing my Tigger T-shirt, I reckon I do. However, I rarely find any ensembles to wear, though depending on what it was and what character it was, I might wear it. Though going around in totally piglet clothes might be a bit much for me.:)

Add me to the list of weird people around here. I wear something Disney 100% of the time- I have a tatoo of Tink on my shoulder blade and one of Mickey on my ankle. As far as my clothing goes, about 80% of the time I am wearing something Disney. Sometimes it is more subtle like my shorts today which just have a small logo at the bottom of one leg and somrtimes it's not so subtle like my Tinkerbell t-shirt my Mom brought me last week from TDS, it has a large pic of Tink on it and has her name w/ glitter sprinkled through it. So, if you think I'm tacky that's fine b/c I love my Disney clothes and get alot of compliments on them.

I guess you can add another to the tacky list.
I have tons of Disney clothes. Most of them are Mickey, but I do have a sweat shirt that I embroidered the fab 5 on. I also have a blue sweater that I did counted cross stitch of the castle.
I wear something Mickey every day. The people I work with have to check me every day to see what I have on. It might be something quiet like earrings, or my loud Mickey socks under my slacks. And yes, if I have nothing else, I do have Mickey undies.
My car although not painted with Mickey could compete with the Mickey mobile anytime. I have all my stuffed Mickey's sitting on my back seat, and around 30 plastic, glass, etc small statues on the back deck of the car. Along with the Mickey stickers air fresheners, etc...
People think I am strange, but who cares, if I am happy. Peggie

I always have something Disney on. I wear socks, tee's, earrings, rings and my Italian charm bracelets in any combination. I like wearing my Disney stuff. It makes me happy, too.

I have only 2 shirts with diney characters, tink on one, and mickey and minnie on the other. I kinda feel left out! lol.

I'm not tacky enough, am i?!

I guess when I go to WDW, I'll have to buy more!

your car sounds nice, but saying it will compete with the Mickeymobile anytime is rather bold...LOL

have you checked out all the pictures of the Mickeymobile...it's very noticeable from a distance..

I only know of one car that even comes close and that's someone who apparently saw the Mickeymobile at a car show and decided to copy my design...

I have several Disney sweatshirts that I wear to work during the winter. I work with kids in foster care and when I know I'm going to be picking them up for visits with their parents, I try to wear colorful, fun, Disney stuff to help get their minds off of all the stuff they have to deal with. I also have Disney CD's in my car so they can laugh and sing on their way to and from visits.

My one REALLY prized Disney possession is my PURPLE Tink jacket that I got at WDW this past January. It has Tink on the front left chest and a HUGE Tink on the back with WDW in sparkles. I LOVE my Tink jacket and the kids REALLY love it!!!

Ok, so I'm a 35 year old woman who LOVES to wear Disney stuff. Oh well, I can think of worse things!!!;) :p

I get called "the lady with the Mickey T-shirt" on very often. Except for today, I had on my Tink t-shirt.:p I've got on my "Not a morning Mouse" nightshirt right now.:teeth:
