Sorry for the confusion. My mother always called them doodles instead of panties so its just a habit.

Yes. I am sensitive to dyes and scents, so everything gets washed in scent-free, dye-free detergent before I wear it...unless I am really desperate.

I do wash a new bathing suit before wearing it, you never know who has tried it on before you in the store so I want to make sure it's clean!

As for my underwear, I buy the pre-packaged kind with 6-7 pairs in a package so no, I don't wash those since they come straight from the factory and nobody else has tried them on.

Me too! I won't wear anything (prepackaged or not) without washing it first.

When DH was in school he wore a new pair of pants (blue). Half way through the day he noticed that his hands were blue and when he went to the bathroom EVERYTHING was blue!! The dye was coming off!

For that reason alone I would wash clothes before wearing (although I don't want anyone else's cooties either).

I have to wash EVERYTHING first too... just have to have the softness and fresh smell plus CLEAN!!!!

I wash all clothes, towels, sheets etc. that touch my body before using.

Call me weird though, but I LOVE to wear brand new, unwashed socks. If I were a millionaire, I would never wear laundered socks again, only brand new ones.

Some of the sights we'd see when we opened cartons from overseas were absolutely disgusting. I won't even go into specifics, but here's my advice:

WASH EVERY PIECE OF CLOTHING YOU PURCHASE PRIOR TO WEARING IT!!!

Some of the sights we'd see when we opened cartons from overseas were absolutely disgusting. I won't even go into specifics, but here's my advice:
