Do you use Disney vacation planning when staying onsite?

So from what I read, anyone staying onsite can use disney vacation planning to book certain things for them.

Is this service worthwhile to use for restaurant reservations or should I just book them myself? Has anyone had them mess up the times you wanted or did it work out fine? Thanks.

I have used the same person at V.P the last 3 years and not one problem. It is easy, easy to change reservation and they do all the work. The will send a day by itinerary for you to you to print and use.

I should try this for our Nov. trip. I wish I'd used them in May - esp. for the F! dessert seating.

I haven't made hotel reservations yet. Is it the number on the back of the reservation confirmation paper? How far in advance do you request dining reservations? (regular restaurants and Carthay Circle WOC dining)

I have used them several times, and they have been great! I had them make all of our PS, and had them help with with having balloons delivered to the room, and an autographed character photo for our daughter. I will use they every time.

I just send emails to lauren.flicker@disney.com, only call them when they need a debit card number.

My wife seems to change her mind about places and times leading up to us leading, so we adjust thru V.P. If things are booked then they will try for a close time for your approval.

So how does this work exactly? Just email a couple of months in advance with what I would like to do and then they set it up when the times open up? So if I want some dinning reservations and a tour or Fantasmic do I just tell them once or do I have to get back with them and remind them?

I ONLY contact Lauren now... same person Jack mentioned. I have had some extremely rude and extremely odd responses from generally emailing VP. but then again, I may just get lucky in that regard, lol.
