Do you use Disney Dollars?

Can you only buy disney dollars at disney stores or can you buy them at the parks or where... ? It is our first time and I think that my 6, 3, and 2 will love em.

You can buy them at the stores, the parks as well as disneydollars.net. I have never used disneydollars.net but looked at their site.

We could not use them for hair braiding and the tattoos. Otherwise, we were able to use them wherever we went. I don't convert all their money to DD because they may not use it all.[/QUOTE]

Correct me if I am wrong, but if it is not all spent, you can still exchange it out at guest relations for US currency, dollar for dollar.

I imagine that you could exchange it. I haven't had to do that because i just dont convert all their money. I have learned from past experiences about how much we spend for souveneirs so i can guesstimate what to bring.

Yes you can but you do need to have your original receipt. But another thing to note...when you pay with DD you receive your change in regular currency. I use it all the time and I love it. I have a jar at home that Idump all extra money in at the end of the week. Then every couple of weeks we go to the disney store and exchange it. That way I don't spend it here!
