I have one but only wear it when I'm already in my pajamas and someone knocks at the door. I run into the bedroom and slip it on before opening the door.
Almost everyday after I shower. I prefer the cotton one to the polyester one. At least the cotton one absorbs moisture. The polyester one feels gross against damp skin.
I have a great bathrobe but most of the time I run to the room wrapped in a towel. I used to always wear a robe when the kids lived at home but since it is just my husband and me - a towel works.
I don't even own one- I have no use for it. I wake up, hop in the shower and get dressed- I change into pajamas right before bed. I don't like hanging about in pajamas and not being dressed even when I am sick.
Only for overnight company I don't know well or see often. If a stray cousin of DH's stays for Thanksgiving, I'll put it on in the morning if I don't shower before going down.
If it is a good friend who stays overnight once a year when we make cookies and get drunk, nope.
Yes but only for an after shower/pre dressing thing. I get up, immediately hower and get dressed before I leave my room. I never walk around with a dressing gown on etc.
My mom just tried on one of my robes tonight that was mysteriously in the laundry. But it had no belt to go with it. It never really gets cold enough here to wear them and I dont like the nightgown feel of them. I can't wear nightgownsthey bug me.
My husband has an old ratty one he loves to death. His mom insisted on buying him a new lighter weight soft fleece one and i know he will never wear it. I wouldn't consider it as a gift for someone because I think it is lie sheets everyone likes the ones they pick for themselves.
