Hi,

We've been to the following:

Chef Mickey's
Ohana's Character Breakfast
Ohana's dinner
LTT
Sci Fi
Coral Reef (twice)
CRT

We loved them all for different reasons. Do you repeat your favorites, or try totally new each trip?

Thanks!
Angie

We always start the trip at Chef Mickeys. That way we get all of our main signatures done and it is kinda our tradition. We always book Le Cellier too. Other than that we book around what resort we are staying at that trip.

Go back to our favorites and at least one or two new experiences on each trip.:goodvibes :goodvibes Danny

We mix them together. We do some favorites and some new each trip. We like to do new things every time we go to keep our trips exciting, and new restaurants are one way we do that.

we have our favorites that we always go to but try one different restaurant ......just in case we may find another great experience.......never can tell....

We mix them too. And because things are always changing, some favorites (or I should say former favs) get removed and new places fill those spots.

We were actually sad because R&C has been a favorite since 1998 and has fallen off the list completely. Had a bad visit in Mar 07 and an even worse experience Jan 08......so we have replaced it on our "list".

We have four repeats no matter what: Crystal Palace, LeCellier, Flame Tree Barbecue and The Plaza Restaurant. Each year we try a new place. Last year it was Boatwright's for dinner which we will never go to again. This year we are hoping to try Whispering Canyon and possibly Boma's or Raglan Road.

We do some old favorites, and we try some new ones. I always love CG and DD(5) and DS(9) love Garden Grill, so I know those are on the list. I think it is fun to try new experiences, so next time we plan to try O'hanas, HDDR and Narcoosees, as well as some others. Too me, it is fun to mix it up. We have gone to Akershus the last two years for lunch. We enjoyed it both times. I am not sure I want to go this year, just to try something new. For goodness sake, I have not been to LeCellier yet! I am ready to give it a try--even if it means sacrificing Akershus and the lovely princesses. :goodvibes

We're planning all new TS this year except for Chef Mickeys. Eating at more resorts this year too to try and look around there.

DH is a creature of habit and does not like to try new things ever... hence the reason we ALWAYS stay at the YC/BC :rotfl:

Anyway, on our last 2 trips, I made it a point to try different restaurants. Generally we always eat at Cape May Cafe, Beaches and Cream, Sci-Fi, Mama Melrose's, the Yacht Club Galley (now the Captain's Grille) and sometimes the Garden Grill.

2 yrs ago we tried for the first time: LTT before MNSSHP :thumbsup2 and 1900 Park Fare for dinner.

This past August, we tried Crystal Palace for lunch, CRT for breakfast, Kona for dinner, LeCellier for dinner, and Chef Mickey's for dinner. (First time @ all)

DH now LOVES Kona :thumbsup2 and wants to eat there again. I probably would not do Crystal Palace again. I definitely want to take my 2 DD's to CRT for breakfast again (it was a girls' only breakfast :) )

I get to make ADR's again in 15 days so I'm trying to decide where to eat this time

We're doing a combo of new places and old favorites.

We love lunch at LTT, so that's a must do. Le Cellier is scrumptious and we're going to have dinner there again. Boma..OMG..I dream of Boma. We have to do that at least once for dinner. The Brown Derby is such a great place to relax and eat. It doesn't even feel like you are in the middle of a theme park. Plus, we love the wine flight right before a ride on the Rock-n-Roller coaster! ;)

Some new ones for us are:
Whispering Canyon
Hoop Dee Doo
Yak & Yeti
Sci-Fi for lunch
Flying Fish
Tokyo Dining - if sushi is on DDP, if not, I'm going to cancel.
California Grill - for my wife's special birthday dinner.
Rose & Crown - hoping to get an outside seat for Illuminations. We've eaten CS here before and loved it.
CRT for lunch. I've always wanted to eat in the castle!

We're on the wait list for V&A's Chef's Table. That would so rock if we got that!

We stick with some favorites but try new ones as well. The last trip we went on we went to LTT for dinner for the first time and it was our first night there. We LOVED it! That's going to be how we start off our trip every year now!

we try at least 2 new each trip.
this may it'll be the biergarten & marrakesh restaurant. we're doing the tried but true coral reef, chefs de france, WPC, & tutto italia. also have le cellier booked but may change it to concourse steakhouse, so we can try it before it closes.
i think we'll try yachtsman steakhouse (YC) & maya grill (CSR) in october.
prob is, we're running out of "new" places :confused3

We always eat at favorites every trip----Chef Mickey, Casey's COrner, Crystal Palace, Garden Grill and WHispering Canyon CAfe at WL----plus try at least one new table service and one new counter service every trip!:cool1:

We usually try to change up and try to do some new places each time...but still go to some old favorites. It is usually a negotiation of where to go. But we look forward to trying new restaurants and it ends up with our favorites list just getting longer.... :rotfl:

We have a few must-do places for table service restaurants- garden grill, 50's PTC and Le Cellier. The other nights we book places we've either never been to or haven't in a long time.

Lately we do a little of both between visiting our past favorites and trying some new places. A lot depends on what the tone of the trip is and if we're there others.
