Do you tip 18% on the dining plan?

We just got back from 8 nights at WDW. We were on the dining plan, so we had 8 TS meals. On the receipt they show the suggested tip. They show 18% and 20%. Do you tip that much? Do you tip 18% in your regular, non-Disney life? I'm pretty much a 15% tipper, unless the service is outstanding.

On most of our meals I bumped it down a bit, closer to 16%. The waitress at our Ohanna dinner was really great and fun with my teenage boys, so I did give her the 18%.

Just curious what others do.

I always tip 20% unless the service is awful or fantastic. Then I change my numbers.

we do tip about 20% in Disney, home or anywhere else. (more for above and beyond service)

18% to 20% is considered stardard, not just in WDW, but everywhere.

Years ago, 15% to 18% was considered standard, but that changed about the time that it became common for servers to be required to tip out 3% to 5% of their sales to the support staff.

We do 18% usually and 20% if they were really good. I have left 15% only a couple times if the service was just terrible. I don't automatically tip anything, I still base it on service.
