Do you think?

We wanted to eat at sci fi but we can only eat there at dinner time due to our schedule. I was looking at the menus for sci fi on allearsnet and I would much rather have something off of the lunch or kids menu than the dinner menu. Do you think they would let me do that? I would even pay a higher price the food off of the dinner menu just does not really appeal to me.

I ate at Sci- Fi recently and they let me order off the Kids Menu. I was okay. Make sure to try a shake.

Wow, really? That's awesome, I'd always heard you couldn't do that at sit-down restaurants. I have some stomach issues and do better with smaller portions, but always had heard it was a no (unless it's gastric bypass or something) at sit-downs, so I'd only done it a few times at counter service...That's good to know, at least worth a try if nothing else.

BTW-Last time I was there I got their chili and caesar salad, and recommend neither (I didn't like the menu for dinner either)

When we went last November, it was our first trip to WDW and the only thing I remembered about Sci Fi was that everyone said the Hamburgers were the best thing on the menu. We arrived for dinner at 6:00PM to find the dinner menu with no Hamburgers. I politely explained to the server that the reason we'd come to that resturant was because we'd heard the HBs were great and asked if it was possible to get them for dinner. He said sure, that you can get any of the lunch foods for breakfast. Disney just likes to have a more substancial menu at dinner but everything is available. I don't think it cost me anymore than the lunch price.

When we ate there, I got the Marinated Tomatoes. They were great, if you like tomatoes! It's an appetizer, not very big, but I couldn't eat much at that stage of pregnancy. I picked off of DD's Kids plate a little.
