Do you think there's no chance for my WL to come through?

Unfortunately, I did not get a studio for one of the days I need at the GFV exactly on the 11th month mark for next Thanksgiving. Our plan was to stay Weds-Friday in a 1-bed villa (for the kitchen, only so we could make Thanksgiving dinner) which we got. But when I went to book the rest of our Friday - Monday stay in a studio, Friday was unavailable. I did book Saturday-Monday, so currently, I am holding a 2-night reservation in a 1-bed W-F, and a 2-night reservation in a studio Sat-M, and I waitlisted Friday night.

I don't mind split stays--we do them very often--but I'm not too keen on a one-night split and three moves over a 5-night stay.

Do you think I have a pretty good chance of getting that studio on the night I need? Because if you don't think I do, I think our second plan is to extend the 1-bed reservation to three nights and pay two nights on cash at another resort, but I think I better move pretty quickly on modifying the reservation while there's still availability with the 1-bed.

I bet it comes through in the next day or two. That reservation is one of very few room/dates that actually benefits from walking. Odds are, someone is holding onto some nights they don't need yet, and those will be released in before the weekend.

I hope you're right. We're also considering just releasing the reservation entirely and moving to Christmas, but that would require the upgraded pass x5, plus worse crowds, plus higher airfare, plus a greater chance for cooler weather, so I'd really like to stick with Thanksgiving.
