that the reservation time I want for Cinderella's Royal Table will ever pop back into the system? Has anyone ever had any luck with that happening in the past. :sad1:

I'm sure it happens all the time! Do you have something else (or another time) booked just in case?

When I spoke to a CM today, she said that people cancel CRT fairly often, so I think you should just keep trying. Call every day -or even a couple of times a day.

i've been checking online for the reservation to open back up, do you think calling the restaurant directly would have the most up to date availabilities?

no - there's nothing i want for that particular day and time. we're at MK that day and my girls will be wearing their princess dresses they will have picked out and purchased the night before at DTD. There's a dinner reservation at DTD the night before already booked for the time I want.

I think calling dining reservations is the only way to get a CRT ressie. I'm pretty sure it's not possible to do it online. And you'll definitely have to have some flexibility with your times.

I've booked CRT online before...just click on the link to the restaurant information and search from there. I've also booked by calling. And, we've also gone to CRT right at the start of the meal time and walked in 10 minutes later to our table -- without a ressie! Don't give up, it is possible that you could get a spot. I do think flexibility is important though. You already have a specific day, so at least try to be flexible on a time that day.

The one thing you can't do is book CRT via the mobile site. That frustrates me because right now, I am checking for reservations via my iPhone numerous times a day and it's more difficult to use the old site on my phone. So, I have to be in front of a computer to search for ressies or I just call the dining number again to check. I have noticed that the dining CMs have been most encouraging lately about continuing to try for reseravations. I am sure they are seeing lots of cancellations right now with the large number of double bookings after the site "enhancement".

Keep trying and if you don't get an ADR before you get there...go to the restaurant with your best smile and attitude and try. I have DH take DD out of sight when I do this, just in case we don't get in. Good Luck! :goodvibes

I got a walk up at CRT in June, so it is possible, but I think how you approach it makes a big difference. I was in line behind a Mom with three girls all dressed in princess costumes. The Mom was yelling at the girls, very stressed out, etc (which I understand completely), but she kind of let that carry over to her interaction with the CM. She bordered on demanding a seating and blamed the CM for not having an opening. The CM turned her down and I started to walk away too. The CM asked what I needed and I explained I was there to see about a walk-up reservation, said I understood it was nearly impossible, but I figured I'd try because we (ok, really just me) really wanted to eat at CRT. The woman asked if I could come back in half an hour, I said yes, she took our name and we got seated. I realize Disney is stressful and when you have kids pulling on you, it can get hard to be nice (trust me, I've been there), but that woman lost out because she couldn't be polite. We had the same size group, so it was all up to the CM.

You can get CRT ADR's online. Click on Character Meals. Then Cinderella's Royal Table. Then "Book online."

It's a separate system, but there is an online CRT reservation system.

I have been searching and searching for a CRT time for our trip in Nov- nada. Just now, I halfheartedly did my daily search and bingo- up popped a time, a decent one at that- 7:10 pm! :cool1:

Keep trying, it does happen! Good luck!

I got one about 2 weeks ago for our Thanksgiving trip. Another Disser had posted one on the cancellation thread and I was able to sign on as shewas cancelling and pick it up online. It was not an IDEAL time, but it worked. If it were me I would not be shooting for a specific time, but take anything that had a chance of being workable at this point.

I booked mine online about 2 weeks ago. Got a great breakfast time.
