She has worn them on The View before. She actually took one off, held it up and said it was from Payless. I don't remmeber what brought it up though.

In next weeks TV Guide there is a little article(blurb) about Lisa Ling and in it she says that Starr really does wear payless shoes.

I'm sorry, she just has no credibility with me... has anyone ever seen the satire of her on Saturday Night Live... Tracy Morgan (a man!) does a fantastic rendition of her...

She actually does wear Payless shoes. I have worked for Payless for a long time ( in fact today is my last day as I start my maternity leave tomorrow waiting for this baby) and so I really notice people's feet. I see many times on the show and at public events not Payless related that she has them on. I didn't believe it either at first.
Did anyone see when they showed her closet? It was honestly like half full of our shoes. She has really helped our company a lot. She is not a favorite of mine but we are indebted to her for now.

And Tracy Morgan's impression is hilarious!!!!! Esp. when he keeps breaking in and saying I am a lawyer!

I'm sorry when someone has to keep on saying "I am a lawyer... " What does that mean?


I'm glad she has helped the company.. I' m really not a shoe person (I think I have 3 pairs..!)

I don't know the point either. I think it is to build herself up? Not that she lacking confidence at all but it seems she wants to realize that she is more than just on t.v. I think it is annoying.
